This exceptional ivory necklace appears in a bright, golden-yellow color in a graceful manner and demonstrates a certain age. It could be worn by a man or a woman, and is sure to get the wearer a lot of flattering attention.
Age and origin are uncertain but the vendor which is a reputable gallery in Bruxelles believes that the pendant originates from south-east Congo. Possibly, from the Lega tribe. Date from the early 20th century and made before 1949 when it came into possession of an old Belgian Colonial collection.
